Abridge Firework Display - Saturday 5th November 2022

The gates open at 4.00 pm giving you plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere of this great event with the Fair Ground, Food Stalls and DJs playing throughout the evening.

There is plenty of FREE PARKING close to the Village Hall and with the Funfair, Inflatables, lots of different foods, hot drinks, licensed bar and music before and after the fireworks - You are sure to have a fantastic time.

There is so much to do while you wait for the Grand Firework Display at 8.00 pm. There are many different types of refreshments, hot drinks, fantastic bouncy inflatables, and great fairground rides.

If you fancy a tipple we have the licensed bar and we also have great DJs playing all through the event.

A Great Bonfire

You just have to have a Bonfire at a Firework display. We most definitely have a great fire which is a fantastic backdrop to the Firework display.

The Bonfire is protected by barriers with fire marshalls and stewards on the scene to make sure the whole event is as safe as can be. This is a night not to be missed and gets bigger with every year that passes.

Fantastic Fireworks - Great Atmosphere

Our Grand Display starts at 8.00 pm and promises to be bigger and better than last year, with a show that will light up the sky.

But the evening does not have to end when the fireworks display is over as the DJs will carry on playing all your favourite tunes.

PARKING

There will be lots of free parking on the designated fields near the Village Hall along Ongar Road, subject to dry weather. Lighting is provided in these fields. It is only a short walk back to the display. Blue badge holders will be able to park in the village hall car park on the production of their blue badge but spaces are limited. There will be professional car parking attendants working on the fields

Please remember that this is a charity-run event organised by local volunteers. We organise and run the event and don’t charge for our time. We

give, we do this purely to raise money for local charities and worthy causes. We would be really grateful if you remain mindful of this and appreciate the event for what it is.

Whilst we strive to make it the best fireworks night in the area, we are a small group of volunteers wanting to put on an event for the local community to enjoy.
